- Headlight & Tail Light Sealing Specialist – Engineered precisely for automotive headlight resealing after retrofit or replacement. 8mm diameter is the industry-standard size for headlight lens-to-housing seals – the right thickness means no gaps, no leaks, no fogging.
- Weatherproof + Vibration-Resistant – Withstands extreme temperatures (-40°F to 230°F) and constant road vibration without losing adhesion. Unlike other tapes that ooze or harden, Pluvane stays elastic and airtight – keeping moisture and dust out of your headlight assembly.
- Universal Automotive Application – Works on headlights, taillights, windshields, car doors, and RV windows. Also ideal for marine port holes and boat deck hatches. The perfect reseal solution after any retrofit, replacement, or repair job.
- Premium Butyl Rubber Composition – Made from high-grade synthetic butyl rubber with tenacious adhesive. Non-drying, non-hardening, and resistant to oil, grease, and corrosive chemicals – the same professional-grade material trusted by auto body shops.
- Quick, Mess-Free Installation – 13 feet of 8mm butyl rope is enough for 2-4 headlight assemblies. Simply clean the surface, press into the channel, and reassemble – no curing, no caulk gun, no waiting. Works best when slightly warmed in cold weather for easier molding.
